Under 12 Premier Division
Mervue Utd v Athenry
U-12's host Athenry at Fahy's Field this evening needing just a point to retain the U-12 Premier Division for a third year in succession for the club. Kick-off is at 6.45pm.
Eric Connolly and Owen Shaughnessy's side are unbeaten in the league all season having won 11 of their 12 league games, while drawing 1-1 away to Maree/Oranmore in their only dropped points of the campaign.
They remain six points clear of second placed Salthill Devon and with just two games left only need that single point to be crowned champions with their final game away to Tuam Celtic.
All support appreciated this evening.
The squad and management would like to wish goalkeeper Jamie Flanagan a speedy recovery after his recent operation and hope to see him back on the pitch very soon.
