U14's Presented With Coley Smyth Cup

The club's U-14 squad were presented with the Coley Smyth Premier Division Cup this evening in Eamonn Deacy Park after they played the Galway Kennedy Cup squad in a friendly game.
Mary Kelly, Coley Smyth's daughter, presented the memorial cup to her
grandson and Mervue captain Colin Kelly after the
club's U-14 squad had retained the league title for a second year in a row
for the club. The team was also managed by Coley Kelly, Colinâs dad and
grandson of the late Coley Smyth.
Well done to Coley Kelly, Pa OâConnell and their young squad on retaining the league title for a second successive year for the club..
They now look forward to a Connacht Cup final this Saturday afternoon when they travel to Sligo to take on Castlebar Celtic at Strand Celticâs grounds with kick-off at 2 pm.
