Over 35's League
Oranmore 2-4 Mervue UtdAfter a scoreless opening half failed to provide a goal, the game produced six in a very entertaining second half as Mike Shaughnessy's over 35's side began their league campaign with an away win in Oranmore on Thursday night.
Just after the break Liam Corcoran opened the scoring with a powerful header, before Ger McGrath, Noel McDonnell (penalty) and Keith O'Gorman all added goals to ensure a winning league start with a hard earned 4-2 win over Oranmore.
