U-10 Girls Double Winners
Well done to the club's U-10 girls team who captured the Galway District League Cup on Thursday night to complete the league and Cup double for 2014.

Mervue United 4-0 Athenry
An early goal from Elisha Bohan put Mervue in front for a
great start to the Premier Cup final before a second from Skye Corcoran doubled
their lead.
Some excellent defending from Leanne Regan, Shauna Burke and
Ella Gilmore and an excellent save from goalkeeper Chloe Folan from an Athenry
free kick keep the visitors scoreless.
Mervue continued to attack and were rewarded with two
further goals from Elisha Bohan and Skye Corcoran as both doubled their tally
on the night to see Mervue record a comfortable win on the night.
It was a great team performance from the full squad which
saw Mervue lift the Premier Cup and complete the league and cup double for 2014.
Well done to their management team of Ann Carr, Breege Creane and Lorraine Corcoran and their young squad on an excellent season.
