U12 Connacht Cup Quarter-Final
Tuam Celtic 0-1 Mervue Utd Lewis Waweru struck a wonder extra time strike for the winning goal as Mervue Utd's under 12's advanced to the semi final of the Connacht Cup in Tuam on Saturday morning.
After a scoreless normal time failed to produce a goal in the game the tie proceeded to extra time were the game was decided in the end by Waweru's goal.
Waweru smashed home a cracking strike with just two minutes remaining in the second period of extra time with the dreaded penalty shootout looming.
