Mervue Utd's Under 13 side defeated Hibs Foyle 5-1 to claim the Premier Division League title and complete a league and cup double at Bohermore on Saturday morning 
 
Having defeated Maree/Oranmore 4-0 on Wednesday night to move nine points clear at the top of the table following a man of the match performance from four goal hero Aaron Connolly, they completed the job on Saturday morning with still three games to play.
 
Young Connolly continued his red hot form into Saturday's game as he registered yet another hat-trick to add to his mid-week four goal haul as he put in another man of the match display in Bohermore.
 
Winger Adam Kelleher and under 12 captain Colin Kelly added further goals to ensure the comfortable win as they were finally crowned champions in an unbeaten league campaign to date for Damien Brennan and Rynal Browne's squad having recorded 11 straight league wins so far.

This was also Mervue Utd's 14th cup of what has been a very successful season so far with Under 16 and 17 league titles still all to play for when they are finally completed.

After the game the Galway FA's Pat McCann presented Mervue Utd captain Ronan Manning with the Under 13 GDL Premier Division Cup.
