Mervue Utd B 1-0 NUIG (Michael Byrne Cup Quarter Final)

The club's Junior B team advanced to the last four of the Micheal Byrne Cup after a narrow 1-0 win over Premier Division NUIG at Fahys Field on Sunday morning.

A John Moran header on 55 minutes was to prove the only score of the game and more importantly a winning one for Martin Higgins side as they move into the semi-final were they will face the winners of the all Premier Division quarter final between Corrib Rangers and OLBC.
