Goalkeeper Ger Hanley and defender Dan Cunningham have re-signed for the club after a spell with Premier Division Dundalk.

Both left the cash strapped Premier Division side at the begining of July and have moved back to Galway and will now link up with their former teamates to play in the First Division for the remaining series of games.

Manager Johnny Glynn is delighted to have re-signed his two former players stating "Ger Hanley and Dan Cunningham have both decided to return to us after a spell with Dundalk and we are delighted to have them back as they are both excellent players. Ger is currently recovering from a broken hand but both will make an important contribution when they have proven their fitness".

Cunningham had previously made 38 appearances for the club in the Airtricity League scoring once in the 2010 season. Goalkeeper Hanley made 58 appearances for the club in the 2010 and 2011 season's with some impressive displays between the posts.
