50th Anniversary Info
Mervue Utd celebrates its 50th anniversary this season and to mark this historic occasion the club’s is holding a 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner in the Clayton Hotel on Saturday 2nd July 2011.
Special guests on the night will include former Mervue Utd juvenile player and now full Irish senior international and Manchester City player, Greg Cunningham, and FAI CEO, John Delaney, among others to be confirmed.
Tickets will cost €50 for the dinner and dress code will be suit and tie for the night. Anyone interested in obtaining tickets should contact the clubhouse at 091 771609 or any club committee member or club director for more information.
The club also hope to launch the book on the history of the club since 1960 in late May. Club historian, Willie Henry, is currently putting together the book on the history of the club since it’s foundation in 1960 along with members of the club’s committee.
All future information regarding the two above events will be posted here on the club’s website over the coming months.

Mervue Utd will celebrate the club’s 50th anniversary later this year (September) and to mark this historic occasion the club and former player and historian, Willie Henry, are currently putting together a book on the history of the club since it’s foundation in 1960.

Once the book on the history of the club has been finalised we shall be updating the website with a more comprehensive history of the club since it’s formation in 1960 up to date plus an updated Roll of Honour page.
