U-17 SSE Airtricity League 2016

Mervue United will hold a closed trial game on Saturday (23rd January)), for the forthcoming 2016 SSE Airtricity U-17 season at Fahy’s Field. 

Any players wishing to participate can email [email protected] or call 087 - 9390464 with their Name, Date of birth, Position, Previous club or football background. All players must be either unattached or have permission from their present club to play in this trial game. 

Mervue United will play in the 12 team Southern Elite Division which is made up of: Bray Wanderers, Cabinteely, Cobh Ramblers, Cork City, Kerry League, Limerick, Mervue United, Salthill Devon, Shamrock Rovers, U.C.D., Waterford United & Wexford Youths. 

This will be a two-round League with the top four in each of the two divisions advancing to the knock-out stages of the League.

The League Cup will be played in midweek on a regionalised basis. 

Mervue reached the semi final in last years inaugural season and currently have three players training with Tom Mohan’s Irish U-17 squad, who are preparing for the European championships.
