Tom signed from Galway Utd for the start of the 2011 season and was an instant star for the club scoring on his debut in a 2-1 win over Salthill Devon in the opening game of last season. He went on to score 7 times in 15 appearances before suffering a cruciate knee injury which ended his campaign, still ended the season as the club's top scorer with seven. Made his return to action in April 2012 as a second half sub in the scoreless draw at Fahy's Field against Waterford Utd. Tom made his first start in ten months in the 3-0 win over Wexford Youths in May and his return to fitness will be a big boost to Johnny Glynn's squad. Made 19 appearances in total in 2012 scoring twice.
