Junior A's Get Off to Winning Start

Mervue Utd 3-1 Salthill Devon (Premier Division)
Gary O'Connor and Ger McGrath's Junior A squad got their Brod Trill Premier Division title defence off to the perfect winning start against Salthill Devon with a 3-1 victory at Fahys Field last Sunday morning.
Goals from new signings Paul Sinnott and Dean McDonagh along with a strike from Brian Meaney ensured all three points and a good start to the new campaign.
Next up is a short trip to the Jesuits pitch on Thursday night to face newly promoted OLBC with kick-off at 6.45 p.m.
That game is quickly followed by their third game of the season as they also play the other newly promoted side West Utd in South Park on Sunday morning with kick-off at 11 a.m.
