Under 17 Premier Division - Salthill Devon 0-2 Mervue Utd

Justin Neary and Colin Nolan's Under 17 team collected all three league points as they defeated city rivals Salthill Devon 2-0 at Drom on Tuesday night with a goal in either half.

Richard Fahy continued his good scoring streak of late as he put the visitors ahead with a first half strike.

Under 16 player Ryan Manning doubled that lead after the break with another good strike to make it 2-0.

Mervue should have added to their two scores and ran out more comfortable winners but in the end the two strikes were enough to secure an important three points as they close in on leaders Moyne Villa

Next up is a home game against Tuam Celtic on Sunday morning at Fahy's Field with kick-off at 11 a.m. as they play their three games in hand on leaders Moyne Villa.
