FAI Ford Cup - Waterford United & Mervue United

 The Club's FAI Ford Cup third round tie with Waterford Utd has been rescheduled for next Monday, September 3 at the RSC with a 7.45 pm kick-off time. Replay arrangements will be announced later.

The draw for the Quarter-Finals of the competition took place on MNS on Monday night and with both last Friday night's original third round game and Monday's re-fixture both postponed due to a flooded pitch at the RSC, Mervue Utd's name went into the hat for the last eight draw for the very first time.

The winner of next Monday's re-fixture will face an away tie with Premier Division Derry City at the Brandywell for a place in the last four of this year's FAI Ford Cup.

The quarter final ties will take place on the weekend of 16th September.
