Mervue Utd Juvenile Awards 2014

Mervue Utd held their annual Juvenile Awards in the clubhouse at Fahy’s Field last Friday evening. In total twenty eight Player of the Year Awards and Most Improved Player Awards for last season were presented on the night from under 12 to under 16 for boys and Under 10 and 12 for girls underage teams for last season. 

The club also presented two international awards to Ronan Manning and Aaron Connolly following their selection for the Irirsh international team, while the Tommy Murphy Special Merit Award was awarded to under 14 player Godwin Oboh.

The awards were presented by Stephen O'Donnell, Dundalk FC Airtricity League Premier Division winning captain, along with the respective managers/coaches of each team. There was a large attendance of juvenile players, parents and club members on the night and the following were the award winners;

U-10 Girls Player of the Year – Elisha Bohan

U-10 Girls Most Improved – Ella Gilmore and Shauna Burke

U-12 Girls Player of the Year – Seltanna Sweeney

U-12 Girls Most Improved – Ciara Nugent

U-12 A Player of the Year – Charlie Filipe

U-12 A Most Improved – Cian Gillespie

U-12 B Player of the Year – Baba Adeeko

U-12 B Most Improved – Callum Carroll

U-12 C Player of the Year – Hamsley Okomah

U-12 C Most Improved – Tony Evans Wanjau

U-13A Player of the Year – Dillon Killilea

U-13A Most Improved – Michael Okoye

U-13 B Player of the Year – Calkin Toye

U-13 B Player of the Year – Sammy Pride Nana

U-14 A Player of the Year – Aaron Connolly

U-14 A Most Improved  - Ronan Ascari

U-14 B Player of the Year – Ellyson Ogba

U-14 B Most Improved  - Dean McHugh

U-15 A  Player of the Year – Dion Walsh

U-15 A Most Improved – Daniel Corbett

U-16 A Player of the Year – Cathal Burke

U-16 A Most Improved – Corey Hurson

U-16 B Player of the Year – Kevin Vahey

U-16 B Most Improved – Cian Dunleavy
