The final of the inaugural Jimmy O'Sullivan Memorial Youth Cup will take place in Eamonn Deacy Park this evening (Saturday) as the club's U-18 team will take on city rivals, Salthill Devon, in the cup decider with kick-off at 8 pm.

Noel McDonnell and Colin Conneely's squad will be aiming to complete a treble this evening as they try and become the very first winners of the Jimmy O'Sullivan Memorial Cup to add to the league and Connacht Shield titles they have captured in the past two weeks. 

Jimmy O'Sullivan is regarded as a legend within the club and the parish of Mervue and his passing was a huge loss to both his local club and the area and it would be very fitting if the club could become the first ever winners of his memorial cup.
