Mervue Utd 4-1 Galway Hibernians (U18 Premier Division)
The club's U-18 side added the league title to their Connacht Shield success of last weekend after they were confirmed league champions after a comfortable 4-1 win over Hibs at Fahy's Field on Wednesday evening.
Only needing a point against their Bohermore rivals to secure the title, Noel McDonnell and Colin Conneely's side took a 2-0 lead in the opening half as Chris Carroll and Andrew Connolly were on the mark.
The visitors did pull a goal back just before the break but second half goals from Gary Bailey and Jamie Kelly ensured all three points were gained and a quick league and Connacht double within five days.
The possibility of a treble is still on the cards as they face Salthill Devon in the final of the Jimmy O'Sullivan Super Youth Cup in the the coming weeks.
